For 1 cup of raw or cooked food:

¼ cup of organ meat (preferably liver)
½ cup muscle meat
¼ cup raw ground vegetables (raw is best even if cooking the meats)
Calcium supplement by animal weight
Essential Fatty Acids (Omega 3) by animal weight
Prepare a larger amount and freeze into daily portions:

For 8 cups of food:

2 ½ cups of organ meat (preferably liver)
3 ½ cups of muscle meat
2 cups of raw ground vegetables (raw is best even if cooking the meats)
Calcium supplement by animal weight
Essential Fatty Acids (Omega 3) by animal weight
For Added Convenience:

Use Better In the Raw supplement for dogs or Instincts TC for cats to add to raw meat. By adding that you can omit the organ meats, vegetables, calcium and essential fatty acids (EFA). Better In the Raw contains beef liver, vegetables, calcium and EFA from fish oil aswell as other beneficial ingredients that are all human-grade. Instincts TC contains calcium, EFA from fish oil and fibre in place of the fibre vegetables would provide. You must also add Liver Powder to Instincts TC or use Instincts TC-Kitten Formula which contains liver powder. Organ meats can be hard to find and unpleasant to handle. Raw vegetables can still be added when using the above supplements for dogs and cats as fresh is always beneficial. If you choose to cook the meats for your dog, use U-Stew supplement to balance with the proper amounts of liver, vegetable, calcium, EFA and enzymes to replace those destroyed by cooking.
