The Tartar Off bone is the knee cap, a very safe beef bone for all sizes of dogs. A fantastic bone for all dogs! They can spend a lot of time chewing away at this bone even after to meat is cleaned off. It is excellent for cleaning teeth and keeping gums healthy. Your dog will chew and scrape their teeth at all different angles on this bone, cleaning areas of the mouth other chews just won’t get to. This bone is low temperature baked, not smoked and not over cooked.
There’s not a lot of excess fat on this bone and there’s no marrow inside. It’s both the fat and the marrow of other bones that sometimes upsets sensitive tummies.
