Hokamix Skin and Shine – Omega Oil for Skin & Coat

HOKAMIX Skin & Shine contains cold-pressed oils from African and American nuts. The nut oils contain different essential unsaturated fatty acids, which are of great importance to the whole body. Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids improve the skin and coat condition considerably and will provide a beautiful shiny coat. Also perfect to use in combination with HOKAMIX Derma to achieve quicker results.

We can differentiate between:

• non-essential fatty acids (can be produced by the body itself )

Essential fatty acids:

The entire body tissue and every organ is composed of very specific cells. The skin is the body’s largest organ and consists of innumerable single cells, just as one single hair does. Essential, unsaturated fatty acids are a component of every cell membrane.  If there is a deficiency of these fatty acids, this will be of influence to the whole tissue. This results in skin problems such as scaly skin, eczema, brittle hair or a coat which is too loose and hair that constantly and easily falls out. As some fatty acids are essential, they must be supplied to the body through food. It therefore does not make sense to simply add pure oils such as sunflower, olive, salmon or evening primrose oil. These oils only contain one of the different kinds of fatty acids at a time.

HOKAMIX Skin & Shine meets the necessary ratio of unsaturated fatty acids and contains naturally high percentages of lecithin, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, palmitin acid, stearic acid, arachidonic acid, glycerids. If you add HOKAMIX Skin & Shine to your pet’s food every day, you will soon see the skin tissue healing, decreased dryness and less shedding.

Rodents and cats: 1.5 ml
Puppies (three weeks and older) and adult dogs:
1–5 kg: 1.5 ml
6–10 kg: 3 ml
11–15 kg: 4.5 ml
16–40 kg: 6 ml
> 40 kg: 9 ml

The dosing pump supplied with the 250 ml pack gives 1.5 ml per spray. The 1000 ml refill pack does not contain a dosing pump.
